CIIS Dissertations

The Library will mail CIIS dissertations published before 1997 to distance students in the United States and Canada. Dissertations published since 1997 are available online. Books and dissertations must be returned to the Library within a six-week period. (There are separate forms for book, journal article, and video/audio delivery.)

Step 1: Contact Information Are you a distance student? Any currently enrolled CIIS student who lives outside of the San Francisco Bay Area is a distance student. The San Francisco Bay Area includes the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara.

	The items I am requesting were published prior to 1997. I understand that I can download these myself.

	I am requesting that you mail me a CIIS thesis or dissertation published since 1997 because I am unable to or prefer not to download a digital copy myself. The Library will send me a CD-ROM with the thesis or dissertation unless I specifically request the item in print format.
