Handbook of Latin American Studies (Internet)
The Handbook is a bibliography on Latin America consisting of works selected
and annotated by scholars. Edited by the Hispanic Division of the Library
of Congress, the multidisciplinary Handbook alternates annually between
the social sciences and the humanities. Each year, more than 130 academics
from around the world choose over 5,000 works for inclusion in the Handbook.
Continuously published since 1936, the Handbook offers Latin Americanists
an essential guide to available resources.

Women's Health Information Center (NWHIC) (Internet)
NWHIC is a gateway to women's health information provided by the U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services. This site includes links to selected
publications, NWHIC's Women's Health Information Resources database, health
resources for women of color, and Web sites to government agencies and
non-profit organizations that produce reliable health information for
the public. The frequently asked questions on women's health cover over
100 topics from abortion to weight loss.
Oxford African American Studies Center
The Oxford American Studies Center (Henry Louis Gates, editor-in-chief) provides more than 7,500 fulltext articles by top scholars in the field. The core content includes specialized encyclopedias (Africana, the new Enclyclopedia of African American Hisotry, 1619-1895, and the forthcoming Encyclopedia of African Amercican History, 1896 to the present and Encyclopedia of African American Art and Architecture.) 6000 biographical resources (African American National Biography) plus other key sources (Black Women in America, Concise Oxford companion to African American Literature) and selected articles from other Oxford Press reference titles.
