Starting Points | By Subject | By Name | Assistance

Journal articles are typically organized in subject indexes, also called resources. To find articles: select an index, search for key terms, mark items of interest, then check for full text availability in CIIS's print or online collections.

Nearly all these databases use Boolean search logic.

	Google Scholar (to connect to items in the CIIS library from Google Scholar, click on "Settings" in the top right corner and then "Library links" on the left side of the next page. Then type in the word "california" and check box for CIIS. Also be sure to set the preference in the Bibliography manager section; select "RefWorks" from the drop down box where it says "Show links to import citations into". Remember to save preferences at each step!)
