Dissertations Online - Easier than Ever!
Now it is even easier to find and download doctoral dissertations and master's theses. The ProQuest Dissertations & Theses database has been reworked to enable immediate viewing of dissertations (post-1996), searching by advisor, school, and more. Check it out or ask a librarian about it.

CIIS Library Introduces Unique Archaeomythology Guide
The recently launched Archaeomythology Research Guide collects and describes key resources in this innovative field. In the tradition of Marija Gimbutas, and the following the approach taught at CIIS, archaeomythology combines knowledge from archaeology, mythology, and spirituality to interpret past civilizations as a foundation for current integrative research.

CIIS Library Subscribes to Journal of Happiness Studies
and 361 other new online journals

The Library recently subscribed to 362 journals published by Kluwer Online. Journal of Happiness Studies is just one of many new psychology, philosophy, religion, health and anthropology titles. These latest acquisitions complement an already robust collection of over 5,000 online journals.

New Library Weekend Hours

British Library displays 9th century Diamond Sutra
The Diamond Sutra, which bears the date 868 AD, was found in a walled-up cave in Dunhuang, north-west CHina, in 1907. It is believed to be the oldest printed book in existence.
